Medway Fighter is a video game being made by people from Medway about Medway.
The project is led by Senior Lecturer in Character Design and Concept Art at Ravensbourne University, Jon Schwochert, in collaboration with Electric Medway, Medway Hack, and local organisations. We are passionate about empowering participants to tell stories about their community through the medium of video games.
We are using interactive workshops and crowd sourcing to co-create a game that highlights historical figures, community members, places, and more.
Our first prototype was released at the Electric Medway Festival in 2025 and we are actively seeking support for the next phase of the project.
